Do you care about improving the health and well-being of your community but don’t know where to start? The Wellness Advocacy Training Program is here to guide you.
 

This 12-week program is designed for young leaders like you (ages 18-30) who want to make a difference. You’ll learn how to address wellness in a holistic way, not just physical health, but also mental, emotional, and even social well-being. Through weekly sessions with expert facilitators, you’ll gain the tools and knowledge to create meaningful wellness initiatives tailored to your community.

What Will I Learn?

This program will teach you practical skills to:

  • Understand wellness in African communities, including cultural and historical perspectives.

  • Talk about mental health responsibly and support your community in addressing stigma.

  • Work with healthcare providers and other experts to develop impactful wellness programs.

  • Mobilise your community and raise awareness about health and wellness.

  • Design wellness initiatives that are sustainable and culturally relevant.
